Our baptism is a defining moment in our lives. It is a powerful affirmation of God's love for us. The baptism by water and the Holy Spirit gives us new life and allows us to remain strong even when the waters are not peaceful. It keeps us strong through a torrential rain and also when we are confronted with murky waters. We are baptized in Joy and Love and become new again as the fresh rushing waters of a river. We become a new life as we blossom. We are given life that is stronger than death and light that is stronger than darkness. Our souls are united through Christ. God's affirming love for us through the waters of baptism allow us to bloom where we are planted. Amen.
